2 former Peoria fast food locations listed for sale following closures

PEORIA — Two former KFC locations have been listed for sale in Peoria following a series of closures for the fast-food chain last year.
The shuttered KFC locations at 8905 N. Allen Road and 2231 W. Glen Ave. in Peoria have both been put on the market for $1.1 million.
Roughly seven KFCs in the Peoria area closed their doors last year, including locations in Bartonville, Pekin, West Peoria and Morton.

The Glen Avenue location closed in March of last year along with the Western Avenue store. A few months later the Allen Road location closed along with the stores in Pekin, Bartonville and Morton.
KFC locations in Rockford and Springfield also closed last year.
