Man dies in hospital after motorway crash

A man has died in hospital following a crash on the M2.

Kent Police were called at 20:00 GMT on Thursday to reports of a crash involving a gold-coloured Jaguar XF. Police say no other vehicle was involved.

The incident happened on the coastbound carriageway of the M2, near Medway services, Kent Police said.

The driver, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he died two days later.

Witnesses, including those with dashcam footage, have been asked to contact Kent Police.
