Multiple counties remain under snow emergencies Tuesday, Dec. 2, as snow covers Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
As of 7:15 a.m., two local counties are under a Level 2 snow emergency while most are under a Level 1.
Snow emergency levels on Tuesday
A Level 2 in Ohio indicates that some roads are closed due to snow or ice and that only people who find it necessary to travel should be out on the roads.

A Level 1 snow emergency means roadways are hazardous with blowing and/or drifting snow and may be icy. Motorists are urged to drive cautiously.
Here's the current snow emergency levels by county as of Tuesday morning at 7:15 a.m.:
Ohio
Hamilton County: Level 2 snow emergency. Roads may be hazardous and icy. Unnecessary travel is discouraged.
Butler County: Level 1 snow emergency. Roadways may be hazardous and icy with blowing and drifting snow.
Warren County: Level 2 snow emergency. Roads may be hazardous and icy. Unnecessary travel is discouraged.
Clermont County: No snow emergency notice available.
Kentucky
Boone County: Level 1 snow emergency.
Kenton County: Level 1 snow emergency.
Campbell County: No snow emergency notice available.

Cincinnati police implemented emergency auto accident reporting procedures on Monday and those also remain in place as of Tuesday morning. If you are involved in a non-injury accident, exchange info with the other drivers and report the accident at one of the district locations when you are able.
